This Easter event in Houghton Regis was something else. Sunshine, laughter, and a bubble-filled park made for a day full of springtime joy! We brought the Easter Bunny Bike to Houghton Hall Park, and it turned an already-loved green space into a colourful hub of excitement and imagination.
Families showed up in their hundreds for what turned out to be one of the most memorable Easter events we’ve ever created. It had all the charm of a traditional egg hunt, with a big dose of Bowerbirdy magic layered on top.

Houghton Regis’ Visit from the Easter Bunny
The star of the day was the Easter Bunny Bike. It’s not just a bike, it’s a whirring, blinking, interactive experience, complete with colourful control panels, radar screens and a giggling enchanted vault.
Children explored Houghton Hall Park on a mission to find special Easter eggs. Once recovered, the eggs were brought back to the bike and carefully placed into the vault, which responded with a cheerful giggle.
But the best bit? A video call with the Easter Bunny himself, right from the bike. Kids reported their findings with wide eyes and serious expressions, treating the whole thing like a top-secret mission! It was funny, heart-warming and really quite magical to watch.
On top of that – our easter events being no exception to the famous Bowerbirdy photo magic – every child walked away with a printed photo souvenir to remember the moment.
Why This Easter Event Stood Out
There was plenty more going on at the park too. This Easter event in Houghton Regis wasn’t just about the hunt. We set up a free face painting station, where children turned into rabbits, chicks, foxes and more. Nearby, our Easter arts and crafts table gave kids space to get creative with pens, stickers and glue, making everything from bunny masks to decorative eggs.
And then there was the smoke-filled bubble blaster, sending out huge clouds of cloudy bubbles! Kids ran through them in every direction, bursting bubbles, dancing and laughing as the mist wrapped around them. It created the kind of playful chaos that’s impossible not to smile at.
Best of all, everything was free. No ticket price, no charges for photos or treats. Just a joyful day out that felt easy and inclusive for families from across Houghton Regis and beyond!
A Feel-Good Day for the Whole Community
It’s easy to underestimate how much events like this can lift a town. Hosting a well-thought-out Easter event in a public space like Houghton Hall Park doesn’t just entertain children for an afternoon. We had grandparents joining the egg hunt, teenagers helping younger siblings, and plenty of parents chatting and laughing over candy floss. The whole park felt alive.
