“Learning how to use the camera equipment was my favourite part!” exclaimed one of our budding directors. And it’s easy to see why. There’s something almost magical about looking through a camera lens and seeing the world in a new light. Our students not only mastered the technical aspects of camera work but also learned to capture stories and emotions, frame by frame.

If cameras capture magic, editing is where it gets a sprinkle of fairy dust. The joy our students found in editing their films was palpable. “The best thing? Probably the editing. Adding cool effects was really fun,” said another young filmmaker. It’s here, in the editing room, where raw footage transforms into compelling narratives.

It’s intriguing to think about the alternative. “If I wasn’t at film school today, I’d probably just be sitting at home bored,” confessed one of our students. Instead of a day spent on phones or gaming consoles, they were out making movies, learning, and having a blast.
