Happy Valentines Day! ❤️ We’re excited to share the incredible impact of our latest venture – Cupid’s WOWbower! Our newest mobile marketing tricycle hit the bustling streets of Sidcup last weekend. This innovative campaign, designed for Sidcup and Partners Business Improvement District (BID), not only amplified local footfall but also set a new standard in mobile marketing.

Cupid on Wheels
Our Cupid’s WOWbower is not your ordinary marketing tricycle. Equipped with an onboard Photo Booth, TV, tablets, WI-FI, a high-quality sound system, and even a bubble machine, it’s a rolling spectacle designed to catch every eye.
When we hit the high streets of Sidcup, it was with a mission: to increase footfall and create a buzz. And that’s precisely what we achieved. Through social media marketing, expertly managed by our Bowerbirdy team, we drew crowds eager to experience the magic of Cupid’s WOWbower.

Engaging Competitions: Boosting Interaction and Awareness
Our strategy included a fun, interactive competition. 10 heart stickers were placed in windows in shop windows along Sidcup high street. Participants had to hunt for all 10, take a photo with each one and upload it to social media with the Sidcup BID hashtag. The grand prize for the lucky randomly-selected winner was a brand new iPad. Not a bad Valentine’s gift!
This competition not only engaged the community, but also spotlighted local businesses and built anticipation for the main event on Saturday.

Social Media Mastery: Organic and Paid Strategies
The campaign’s success skyrocketed with our dual approach to social media. An online competition for a deluxe Valentine’s hamper garnered over 1,000 likes, comments, and shares. Coupled with targeted paid adverts on Facebook and Instagram, we reached an audience of over 50,000, significantly raising awareness of Sidcup BID’s event.

Final Flourish: Grin and Win
On event day, our promo team, armed with our mobile Photo Booth, ran the ‘Grin and Win’ competition. Everyone who stopped by could have their photo taken and instantly printed as a free Valentine’s souvenir. Not only was this a great keepsake, but it was also their ticket into a prize draw! One lucky participant, picked at random from everyone who had their photo taken on the day, won a 5-star weekend at Rushton Hall. A luxurious touch to our interactive campaign!

Testimonials and Impact
Sue Petty, the Sidcup and Partners BID Manager, lauded the event as “the most professional and successful” they’ve seen. The mobile marketing campaign not only engaged the public but also uplifted the mood on the high street, with local businesses reporting a significant increase in trade and footfall.
