Wat’s On Watford is a fantastic project close to Bowerbirdy’s heart! Presented in collaboration with Watford Borough Council, Wat’s On is an exhilarating, free kids activities program designed for children and young people aged 5 to 15.
Keeping Kids Safe, Challenged, and Thriving
At Bowerbirdy Academy, we’re passionate about creating a safe yet stimulating environment for young adventurers. Our goal is to offer free, open-access, multi-skilled activities that encourage adventurous and creative play. Through these sessions, children not only have an absolute blast but also develop essential life skills and grow in confidence.
A World of Fun and Learning
Last year, we had the pleasure of hosting a whopping 1,078 young learners who joined us for a wide range of engaging and fun free kids activities, including:
- Adventure Play: Become a swashbuckling pirate, build your own ships, and uncover hidden treasure in the enchanting woodlands of Watford.
- Stage School: Dive into dynamic acting workshops, groove with street dance, and create musical masterpieces.
- Sport Club: Experience your very own mini Olympics, complete with our unique twist on Quidditch.
- Arts and Crafts: Channel your creativity into producing remarkable works of art, showcasing the artist in you.
Sticker Album Fun!
To make the experience even more memorable, we created a fun sticker album. Each child received a sticker for every session they attended, turning their journey into a colourful adventure of achievements!
