Bringing Ghostbusters to Basingstoke This Halloween
The Ghostbusters event transformed the town centre into a supernatural training ground, with our team arriving in full Ghostbusters uniform alongside the Ecto-2 bike. From first glance, the setup drew attention, with flashing lights, themed props and recognisable equipment creating a strong focal point for Halloween footfall.

The Ecto-2 Mobile Hunting Hub
At the centre of the event was the Ecto-2 bike, designed specifically for smaller or more flexible Halloween activations. The bike featured interactive technology including an Ecto Egg detecting satellite droid, an enchanted containment vault and onboard equipment used to support the ghost hunting storyline throughout the day.
Participants were invited to help locate mysterious Ecto Eggs hidden nearby, returning them to the Ecto-2 bike where they could be deposited into the containment vault. Each interaction reinforced the Ghostbusters narrative and kept visitors engaged as part of the mission.

Ghostbusters Training and Interaction
Visitors were encouraged to learn the basics of ghost hunting through guided interaction with the Ghostbusters team. Children and families were shown how the equipment worked and how captured Ecto Eggs were safely contained. This structured interaction allowed the event to remain accessible while maintaining a consistent theme.
Instant Ghostbusters ID Photo Prints
A key feature of the event was the instant photo experience. Participants had their photo taken and printed on the spot as a Ghostbusters ID card, providing a themed souvenir to take home. These printed photos reinforced the immersive nature of the event and extended the experience beyond the day itself.
Designed for Halloween Audiences
The event was tailored specifically for Halloween audiences, combining familiar Ghostbusters visuals with interactive elements suitable for a wide age range. The scale and format of the Ecto-2 bike allowed the activation to fit naturally within the town environment while remaining highly visible.
